I have been drinking green smoothies for the past seven years, and they have forever changed my life! It is one of the single most impactful habits that I do on a daily basis, takes less than ten minutes (including prep and cleanup), and doesn’t break the bank! The cost of a quart of green smoothie is approximately $2.50 — cheaper than a coffee at your favorite café. If you are like me, you are busy and need to find quick ways to get food prepared for the day. This ten minute daily habit is not only easy, but it provides me with twelve to fifteen servings of fruits and vegetables to start my day. This simple habit will increase your nutritional intake by 700% and provide more lasting, sustainable energy throughout the day. The benefits of what happens to our health when we massively and easily increase nutrition are very exciting! If that wasn’t already exciting enough, my newest addition to my smoothie routine is adding matcha green tea – doubling my antioxidant intake and providing even more benefits!

When making your daily matcha green smoothie, you can store it for up to 24 hours in the fridge. All you need is a blender and good ingredients that are available at any grocery store. It’s never been easier to find organic greens, frozen fruit and matcha green tea. Lastly, you need some delicious recipes. Matcha Mango Mint Smoothie
3 big handfuls of spinach
1 cup frozen/fresh mango
15 mint leaves
1.5 tsp organic matcha green tea powder
1/2 cup frozen/fresh strawberries
1 cup coconut water
1 cup of water
Blend liquid, matcha and greens first, then add the banana and frozen mango, blend until creamy and enjoy!
