Marjoram Essential Oil Uses and Benefits

Marjoram Essential Oil Background

Known as a symbol of happiness in ancient times, Marjoram, or Origanum majorana; has had many medicinal and culinary uses through the centuries. Now, through steam distillation of its leaves and stems, we are able to harness its power and incorporate it into our daily routines!

You can use Marjoram essential oil in place of the herb in your dishes: 1 drop equals about 1-2 teaspoons of dried marjoram. But its benefits don’t end there! It is a versatile powerhouse oil you won’t want to be without.

Sweet Dreams Rollerball Blend

Ingredients:
10 drops Lavender essential oil
6 drops Vetiver essential oil
4 drops Marjoram essential oil
4 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil

Directions:
Add the essential oils to a 10 mL glass rollerball bottle. Fill to the top with the carrier oil, replace the rollerball top and cap, and swirl gently to blend. To use, apply to the soles of your feet, pulse points, and back of the neck.
