Episode Summary:

Do you ever forget to take care of yourself, especially in the morning? I have a feeling the answer is yes. Putting other people’s needs ahead of our own is something we do all the time, especially as busy women. But the truth is that when we stop prioritizing our self-care, everything else in our lives follows suits and is negatively impacted.

Having a morning routine is one of the easiest ways to get yourself ready to have a great day. By creating a time and a space to help you balance your life, you can go on to do the things that you do best. Establishing self-care rituals, such as yoga, meditation, journaling and healthy food choices, will help prepare you to consistently have a positive and productive day.

A conscious and thoughtful morning ritual will help you have a little less chaos in your day and will set both your body and your mind to a state of success. Listen in for the importance of learning something new every day, why being in motion is the key to life, and why it is necessary to reconnect with nature.

In this episode, I share tons of my favorite tips and tricks for how to make sure you have the best morning possible, because how you start your day is how you live your life, and you deserve the best version of that for yourself and for your family.

Try some of the morning rituals I share in this episode and let me know what one works best for you in the comments on the episode page!

Quotes:

“Self-care is an important part of our wellness ritual. It often goes by the wayside in our over-scheduled, hyper-connected world. Consumed by being busy, we often forget to take time for ourselves to care for our body.” (1:15)

“Each day we get to choose which kind of day we want to have. Morning rituals allow us to create the reality we want for our day.” (7:18)

“Even if you incorporate only one or two rituals, just know that every single one of these rituals are going to help you create success. Not only in your personal life but also in your professional life.” (29:39)

thanks for the tips. Although I have a morning routine, you encourage me to incorporate new ones like to keep a gratitude journal and plan my day. I like the idea to incorporate blends in the shower and afterwards. I need to incorporate a daily green smoothie.
