Smoothie Bowl 1

Upgrade Your Smoothie to a Green Smoothie Bowl

It’s a well-established fact that I’m a super-fan of super-nutritious, super-powered green smoothies. They’re packed with nutritionally dense goodness, from the healthy fats to vitamins and minerals to antioxidants. But drinking smoothies from a straw can get – well, boring. Sometimes I just miss chewing! Smoothie bowls are a great way to switch up your breakfast. Just pour it into a bowl, top with your favorite ingredients, and eat it up with a spoon! You’ll get an extra dose of nutrition from your toppings and you can use whatever you want. You’ll get the satisfying mouth feel from your toppings, and eating it with a spoon will slow you down so you can savor your breakfast a little more.

How to Make a Green Smoothie with Essential Oils

A green smoothie is one of the fastest foods that you can make it your kitchen in under ten minutes with prep and clean up. Make sure that you have a great blender for your green smoothie to produce the smoothest green smoothie without chunks of greens. I prefer Vitamix, or Blendtec blenders for the creamiest smoothies. Once you have all of your ingredients, you can get started making your first green smoothie.

First, you’re going to start with a liquid base. Just make sure your liquid is nearest to your blade in whatever blender you have. If you have a Vitamix, or Blendtec, you’ll fill up the blender to the 2.5-3 cup mark with a liquid base for 2 quarts of smoothie. You can use coconut water, water, nut milk or a juice as your base.
