Episode Summary

Michelle Norris went through one of the biggest emotional traumas imaginable when she lost her daughter at age 23. Instead of letting her grief conquer her, Michelle and her husband channeled the legacy of their daughter into Paleo f(x), a conference dedicated to helping those seeking a new path from traditional medicine.

Now, more than a decade later, Michelle is here to provide you with real, actionable strategies to help you find the strength to heal from emotional trauma. By mindfully responding instead of reacting, grieving in your own way and leaning into your feminine energy, Michelle is proof that you too can release yourself from your frozen state of fear and start to move past your trauma.

Michelle believes that even one day living without the possibility of changing your life is one day too many, and she is here to inspire and encourage you to take responsibility and control of your own health. Don’t wait to start investing in your own health, because as Michelle knows, nobody is promised tomorrow.

Quotes

“To say it was the hardest time of my life would be a complete understatement, but it was also the most transformational time of my life.” (10:30)

“The best thing to do is allow yourself to go through it, feel it all because it needs to release from your body. Because if you don’t release it from your body, down the road it is going to turn into disease.” (17:21)

“Everyone had their space and time and their place for grieving because she was a loss to the whole world, not just me.” (23:21)

“The only thing that you can control is whether or not you react or you respond to something.” (26:07)

“My culture at my company a handful of years ago sucked, I can tell you that. It was awful and it was because I didn’t lean into my feminine and into my vulnerability.” (34:10)

I don’t know how this podcast touched me, but it did. Made me realize I have trauma from my daughters birth almost 5 years ago. I developed food sensitivities and allergies one month to the day after her delivery.
Thank you for this. Now… to go to work on healing!
